1Add your permission set files

An XML file from Export Permission Sets, or a CSV exported to Excel from a permission set's Permissions page. A CSV becomes one permission set named after the file.

2Use object names instead of IDs (recommended)

Drop the .app files from your project's .alpackages folder (Base Application, System, your extensions). For apps without symbols you can also drop a .csv (50100,My Table) or .json ({"50100": "My Table"}) table list.

3Choose options

First object ID

Each permission set gets the next number.

Name prefix (optional)

Added in front of every permission set name.

Also give Execute on the table for every table data entry (adds table 18 = X next to tabledata 18 = …)

Custom tables (optional)

Your extension's table IDs. Added to every permission set.

Access for custom tables

Advanced: extra permission lines

One per line, added to every permission set, e.g. codeunit 50100 = X
